Overseas Mission

As a church we have contact with a number of missionaries in

various countries.

Our own church member, SUE KEMP, is involved with the Chhahari Schools in Nepal, a ministry she herself founded. Sue is currently settling back into the UK after living permanently in Nepal for several years, and is planning to make regular visits to that country to monitor the development of the work and to give guidance where necessary. There are some photos HERE of the work.

Another church member, DAVID ARDRON, makes regular visits to Uganda where he is involved with Leadership training with leaders of village churches. David is taking several church leaders through a course on the subject, and the leaders pass the teaching on to other church leaders, even in remote areas.

Our BMS World Mission ‘Link’ missionary is CLAIRE BEDFORD, who is working as a Pharmacist at the Guinebor II Hospital in Chad. Claire also facilitates training on pharmaceutical issues for the Chadian staff at the hospital.

CHRISTINE BIRT works with Mustard Seed Ministries in Uganda where she is involved in teaching and discipleship in churches and prisons around the Mbale area. Christine also hosts a weekly radio programme in which she offers discipleship to listeners who phone in.

KARIN MENDE works with AIM International in Madagascar.

Karin teaches Transformational Development in churches covering the whole island, and conducts Bible teaching sessions in many churches.

These are just few of the missionaries we pray for as a church. Prayer and news letters are sent around those who are interested in receiving them.
